# Register an RCS template

`PATCH /rcs/1/senders/{sender}/templates/{templateName}/register`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.infobip.com/rcs/1/senders/{sender}/templates/{templateName}/register`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials

  - HTTP basic

Registers an RCS template with additional providers. Available only for senders that support templates.

  - `providers` string[], required: List of providers with which the template should be registered. For list of available providers please check [Get RCS template providers](#channels/rcs/rcs-service-management/rcs-template-management/rcs-template-providers) endpoint. Please note that only supported providers with which template has not been registered yet should be used.

  - `type` 'TEXT' | 'CARD' | 'CAROUSEL' | 'TEXT_WITH_PDF', required: Template content type.
  - `status` 'PENDING' | 'APPROVED' | 'REJECTED' | 'SUSPENDED' | 'APPROVED_IN_PROGRESS' | 'APPROVED_PARTIALLY', required: The status of a specified RCS template. Possible values: * `PENDING`: Status indicating that the template has still not been approved by any provider and that there is at least one more provider reviewing the template. * `APPROVED`: Status indicating that the template has been approved by all required providers. * `REJECTED`: Status indicating that the template has been rejected by all required providers. * `SUSPENDED`: Status indicating that the template has been suspended by all required providers. * `APPROVED_IN_PROGRESS`: Status indicating that the template has been approved by at least one provider and that there is at least one more provider reviewing the template. * `APPROVED_PARTIALLY`: Status indicating that the template has been approved by at least one provider and that there is no more providers reviewing the template. Please note that the template must be approved by the provider before it can be used for messaging.     - `type` 'TEXT' | 'CARD' | 'CAROUSEL' | 'TEXT_WITH_PDF', required: Template content type.
  - `lastUpdate` string, date-time, required: Date and time when the template was updated. Has the following format: `yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSZ`.
