# Send Open Channel inbound message

`POST /open-channel/1/messages/inbound`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.infobip.com/open-channel/1/messages/inbound`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://api.infobip.com/auth/1/oauth2/token`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - HTTP basic

Sends a message to Open Channel destination registered on Infobip platform.

## Request body

- 0a37b8c521b3309d1bbd0669d19fc7f2f157d68a68747b5e7ad23e5b0f5e47e8OpenChannelMessageRequest
  - `sender` string, required: Unique end user sender ID.
  - `destination` string, required: Open Channel destination ID registered on Infobip platform, required to be in UUID format.
  - `content` 0a37b8c521b3309d1bbd0669d19fc7f2f157d68a68747b5e7ad23e5b0f5e47e8OpenChannelMessageContent, required: Content of the message.
    - `body` 0a37b8c521b3309d1bbd0669d19fc7f2f157d68a68747b5e7ad23e5b0f5e47e8OpenChannelMessageBody, required: Body of the message.
      - `type` 'TEXT' | 'JSON' | 'AUDIO' | 'IMAGE' | 'FILE'
  - `responseWebhook` 0a37b8c521b3309d1bbd0669d19fc7f2f157d68a68747b5e7ad23e5b0f5e47e8OpenChannelWebhookData: Response webhook data.
    - `url` string: Override URL to which the outbound response will be sent, required to be in HTTPS URL format.
    - `callbackData` object: Additional data that can be used for identifying a message response. Data contained here will be included in the outbound message sent as response to this inbound message.
  - `metadata` object: Metadata which will be passed through message to be used in product business logic.
