# Update business registration info

`PUT /number-reputation/1/businesses/{businessId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Update business registration information. While a business is not in REGISTERED status yet, any field may be updated, and the update triggers a fresh verification attempt. Once a business reaches REGISTERED status, only the contact object can be updated.

  - `dunsNumber` string: DUNS number.
  - `einVatNumber` string: EIN (US) or VAT number.
  - `country` string, required: Country code in [ISO-3166-1 alpha-2](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_3166_country_codes) format.
  - `region` string: State/province or territory. Required for US and CA businesses, using the two-character state code (e.g. NY, WA) or territory code (e.g. ON, BC). Ignored for all other countries.
  - `city` string, required: City name.
  - `postcode` string: Postal/ZIP code.
  - `streetAddressLine1` string: Street address line 1.
  - `streetAddressLine2` string: Street address line 2.
