# Search knowledge base

`POST /knowledge-base/1/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.infobip.com/knowledge-base/1/search`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://api.infobip.com/auth/1/oauth2/token`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - HTTP basic

Performs a full-text search across all knowledge base content using filter criteria provided in the request body. Results are paginated.

- `size` integer

  - `searchExp` string: Search expression to filter results by.
  - `filter` object: Key-value filter pairs for advanced search criteria.

    - `scope` 'INTERNAL' | 'EXTERNAL', required: Content scope of the node.
    - `url` string: URL for external content to open or download.
    - `sizeInBytes` integer: Size of attachment in bytes. Present only for attachments.
    - `contentType` string: MIME type of attachment. Present only for attachments.
    - `contentSource` 'CSV' | 'SHAREPOINT' | 'CONFLUENCE': External source of the node, if imported.
    - `visibility` 'PRIVATE' | 'PUBLIC': Visibility of the node.
  - `paging` 09ef6171198229ad9a73a413d2271afa3ba31b9abbd6cd8a0cc9563fd721f1edPageInfo, required: Contains information about the page.
    - `page` integer, required: Requested page number.
    - `size` integer, required: Requested page size.
    - `totalPages` integer, required: The total number of pages of the results matching the requested parameters.
    - `totalResults` integer, required: The total number of the results matching the requested parameters.
