# Create content tree node

`POST /knowledge-base/1/content-tree/nodes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.infobip.com/knowledge-base/1/content-tree/nodes`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://api.infobip.com/auth/1/oauth2/token`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - HTTP basic

Creates a new node in the content tree.

## Request body

  - `type` 'CATEGORY' | 'FOLDER' | 'ARTICLE', required: Type of the tree node.
  - `name` string, required: Name of the tree node.
  - `targetId` string, uuid, required: Identifier of the target node for relative positioning.
  - `position` 'ABOVE' | 'BELOW' | 'APPEND', required: Position relative to the target node.
  - `visibility` 'PRIVATE' | 'PUBLIC': Visibility of the node.

  - `scope` 'INTERNAL' | 'EXTERNAL', required: Content scope of the node.
  - `source` 'CSV' | 'SHAREPOINT' | 'CONFLUENCE': External source of the node, if imported.
  - `visibility` 'PRIVATE' | 'PUBLIC': Visibility of the node.
  - `root` boolean, required: Whether this is a root node.
