# Transfer call to external number

`PATCH /ccaas/voice/2/conversation/{conversationId}/transfer/external-number`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.infobip.com/ccaas/voice/2/conversation/{conversationId}/transfer/external-number`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - HTTP basic
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://api.infobip.com/auth/1/oauth2/token`

Use this method to transfer the call to an external phone number. Depending on the Transfer to External Number configuration, the Agent can transfer the call to any valid phone number or only to the numbers in the People with the external_number tag. <a href="https://www.infobip.com/docs/conversations/calls#transfer-to-external-number-agent-guide" target="_blank">More info</a>.

  - `externalNumber` string: Valid phone number in the E.164 format to which a call should be transferred.
  - `from` string: Caller identifier. Must be a phone number in the E.164 format
