# Send a conversation event

`POST /ccaas/1/conversations/{conversationId}/events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.infobip.com/ccaas/1/conversations/{conversationId}/events`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://api.infobip.com/auth/1/oauth2/token`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - HTTP basic

Use this endpoint to send an event to a conversation. E.g. indication when typing started or ended.<a href="https://www.infobip.com/docs/conversations-api" target="_blank">More info</a>

- `conversationId` string, required

## Request body

  - `from` string, required: Sender Id.
  - `to` string, required: Destination Id.
  - `type` 'TYPING_STARTED' | 'TYPING_STOPPED', required: Event type.
  - `channel` 'LIVE_CHAT' | 'APPLE_BUSINESS_CHAT' | 'WHATSAPP' | 'RCS', required: Channel where the event will be sent.
