# Delete recording file

`DELETE /calls/1/recordings/files/{fileId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.infobip.com/calls/1/recordings/files/{fileId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - HTTP basic
  - OAuth 2

Delete a single file from a call or conference recording. The call or conference recording metadata will still exist after deleting the file, but the file will not show up anymore in the file list of that call or conference recording.

  - `name` string, required: File name.
  - `fileFormat` 'MP3' | 'WAV' | 'MP4', required: File format.
  - `size` integer: File size in bytes.
  - `creationTime` string, date-time: File creation time.
  - `duration` integer: File duration in seconds.
  - `startTime` string, date-time: Date and time when the recording started.
  - `endTime` string, date-time: Date and time when the recording ended.
  - `location` 'SFTP' | 'HOSTED': Location of recording file after processing.
  - `sftpUploadStatus` 'UPLOADING' | 'UPLOADED' | 'FAILED': Indicates current status of the recording file being uploaded via SFTP.
  - `customData` object: Custom data.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not found
- `429`: Too many requests
- `500`: Internal Server Error
