# Create session token

`POST /auth/1/session`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.infobip.com/auth/1/session`
- Auth: none declared

This method allows you to <a href="https://www.infobip.com/docs/essentials/api-authentication#ibsso-token-header">create a session (login)</a> which by default will expire after 60 minutes. If you want to create a new token before the session expires, you'll need to <a href="#platform-connectivity/account-management/destroy-session">destroy it</a> first.

## Request body

  - `username` string, required: Username of the user.
  - `password` string, required: Password of the user.
  - `unsafe` boolean: Create session which is not bound to IP.

  - `token` string: Session with Token

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `429`: Too Many Requests
