# Verify Audit Chain

`GET /api/v1/audit/verify`

## Request

Walk this org's audit chain and report whether it is intact (#10484).

Joins audit_chain back to audit_log and recomputes every hash. Detects:
  * a modified audit_log row  -> recomputed hash != recorded hash
  * a deleted audit_log row   -> chain entry with no audit row
  * a deleted chain entry     -> gap in seq
