# Trace a deposit by rail reference

`GET /deposits/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app2test.infiniaweb.com/infinia_api/v1/troubleshooting`
- URL: `https://app2test.infiniaweb.com/infinia_api/v1/troubleshooting/deposits/`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Traces an incoming deposit to one of your virtual accounts by the reference on the payer's receipt, and tells you what happened to it: credited, still pending, rejected, expired, or settled on the payment rail but never credited.

The reference is the rail's own identifier for the transfer:

- **BRL** — the Pix end-to-end ID, a 32-character code starting with `E`.
- **ARS** — the Coelsa transfer ID.

Pix end-to-end IDs are often transcribed by hand, where the letter `O` and the digit `0` are easily confused, so for **BRL** those variations are tried as well. When the match came from a corrected reference, `typo_corrected` is `true` and `matched_reference` holds the reference that actually matched. Coelsa IDs are matched exactly, so for **ARS** `typo_corrected` is always `false`.

The lookup is read-only and scoped to the authenticated company and its sub-companies.

## Query parameters

- `currency` 'BRL' | 'ARS', required: Rails the lookup can trace. The reference is the rail's own id for the transfer.
- `reference` string, required: The rail reference of the transfer, as shown on the payer's receipt.

## Headers

- `x-company-id` integer: ID of a child company for authentication. If not provided, the parent company will be authenticated.

## Response `200`

The lookup resolved; branch on `data.result`.

- DepositLookupResponse
  - `status` 'success'
  - `data` DepositLookupData, required
    - `currency` 'BRL' | 'ARS', required: Rails the lookup can trace. The reference is the rail's own id for the transfer.
    - `reference` string, required: The reference exactly as it was sent
    - `matched_reference` string, required: The reference that matched; differs from `reference` only when a typo was corrected
    - `typo_corrected` boolean, required: `true` when the reference you sent did not match but an `O`/`0` variation of it did, in which case `matched_reference` holds the one that matched. Only Pix end-to-end IDs are matched that way; a Coelsa ID must be exact, so for `ARS` this is always `false`.
    - `result` 'CREDITED' | 'PAYOUT' | 'OTHER_COMPANY' | 'PENDING' | 'REJECTED' | 'EXPIRED' | 'NOT_CREDITED' | 'LOOKUP_FAILED', required
    - `reason` string: The rail's own status or rejection code, as it reports it (for example `SENDER_NOT_ALLOWED`, `INICIADO`, `CP001`). `null` when the lookup did not need to ask the rail.
    - `description` string: Human-readable explanation of the result
    - `amount` number: Amount of the transfer as reported by the rail
    - `sender` DepositLookupSender: Payer details as reported by the rail, using the same field names as a movement's FIAT third party. Available when the rail was consulted; a credited deposit is identified by its movement instead.
      - `full_name` string
      - `document_number` string
      - `bank_code` string
      - `bank_name` string
      - `account_number` string
    - `rail_date` string, date-time: When the rail registered the transfer (UTC)
    - `expires_at` string, date-time: When a transfer awaiting approval expires (UTC)
    - `movement` DepositLookupMovement: The credit (or, for PAYOUT, the debit) in the caller's account.
      - `id` string, required
      - `account_id` string, required
      - `amount` number, required: Positive for a credit, negative for a payout
      - `currency` string, required
      - `created_at` string, date-time

## Other responses

- `400`: The reference is not valid for the rail, or the currency is not enabled for the company.
- `401`: Invalid credentials.
- `404`: No record of the reference, on our side or on the rail.
- `422`: Validation Error
