# Paste a secret value into a capture session

`POST /v1beta/capture_sessions/{id}/paste`

Resolve one field of an attached login secret and paste it at the caret in the live recording browser, so the user does not retype credentials they already stored.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The ID of the capture session to paste into.

## Request body

- PasteSecretRequest
  - `field` 'username' | 'password' | 'totp', required
  - `secret_id` string, required: The stored login secret to resolve the value from.

## Response `204`
