# Delete thread

`DELETE /threads/{threadId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://inboxapp.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://inboxapp.com/api/v2/threads/{threadId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes the conversation on the platform when it can, and always in Inboxapp. The response's `scope` says which happened.

## Path parameters

- `threadId` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- ThreadDeletion
  - `scope` 'remoteAndLocal' | 'local', required: `remoteAndLocal` when the conversation was also deleted on the platform. `local` when only Inboxapp's copy was, because the platform can't delete it or it never existed there.
