# List users assigned to a role

`GET /api/v3/roles/{role_id}/users`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP basic

Returns the users currently holding the role, with their workspace assignment.
Useful for impact preview before editing or deleting the role.

- `role_id` integer, required

## Response `200`

Users assigned to the role.

- RoleUsersResponse
  - `users` RoleUser[], required
    - `user_id` integer, required
    - `name` string, required: Display name. Falls back to email if first/last name are blank.
    - `email` string, required
    - `workspace_id` integer, required
    - `workspace_title` string, required

## Other responses

- `404`: Role not found.
