# Read a custom deployment's environment variables

`GET /platform/deployments/custom/{id}/vars`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.imprezahost.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.imprezahost.com/v1/platform/deployments/custom/{id}/vars`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key` and API key in header `X-API-Secret`

Returns the deployment's env vars split into what you own and what the
platform owns:

- `vars` — your variables, editable.
- `managed` — set by the platform (`DOMAIN_URL`, `HOST_PORT`, …). Read
only; they are how the reverse proxy and the container agree on a
  route.
- `managed_keys` — the full list of names the platform reserves.

Values that look like secrets come back **masked**. Round-tripping a
masked value through `POST` is safe: the mask token is read as
"unchanged", so you can edit one variable without knowing the others.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`
