# Transfer a domain

`POST /domains/transfer`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.imprezahost.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.imprezahost.com/v1/domains/transfer`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key` and API key in header `X-API-Secret`

Transfer a domain from another registrar. Requires the EPP/auth code.
Creates an order and deducts from credit balance.
Free DNS management is automatically activated upon successful transfer.

## Request body

- object
  - `domain` string, required
  - `epp_code` string, required: EPP/Authorization code from current registrar
  - `years` integer

## Response `201`

Transfer order created

## Other responses

- `409`: Insufficient balance
