# Change partner's name or allocation

`PUT /partner/{partnerID}`

This endpoint enables a distributor to update a partner's name or allocated capacity.

## Path parameters

- `partnerID` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ApiUpdatePartnerReqBody
  - `allocatedCapacity` integer: The updated capacity allocated to this partner
  - `name` string: The new name of the partner

## Response `200`

OK

- ApiDistributorPartnerResponse
  - `allocatedCapacity` integer: The capacity allocated to this partner under the contract
  - `allowOverdraft` boolean: Indicates if the partner can go over it's allocated capacity
  - `details` string: Additional details about the partner
  - `distributorContractId` string: The ID of the distributor's contract (UUID)
  - `id` string: The unique identifier of the partner (UUID)
  - `name` string: The name of the partner
