# Read the changelog, filtered to the caller's ring

`GET /api/whats-new`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.immersivecommons.com`

- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - API key in cookie `__session`

Public OR signed-in: a signed-out caller is treated as tier `public` and gets the public slice, and signing in upgrades the response to everything at or below the viewer's ring with their own ring's entries flagged `relevant`. Reads auth defensively - any auth failure degrades to the public view rather than 500ing, so the changelog is always renderable.

  - `tier` string, required: The viewer's ring — `public` when signed out.
  - `signed_in` boolean, required
  - `entries` object[], required: Newest first, filtered to entries at or below the viewer's ring.
    - `title` string
    - `min_tier` string
    - `relevant` boolean: Unlocked AT the viewer's own ring, as opposed to inherited from a lower one.
