# Read the pending research-submission queue

`GET /api/research/submissions/pending`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.immersivecommons.com`

- Auth: API key in cookie `__session`

Clerk operator session only (NOT reachable with an agt_ bearer). Returns every pending research-RAG submission, newest first — the envelopes the MCP tool `ic_research_submit` writes. Ids whose envelope is already gone are filtered out, so a half-committed approve/deny leaves no ghost row in the queue rather than a record that cannot be acted on.

The live pending queue.

  - `ok` boolean, required
  - `submissions` ResearchSubmission[], required: Newest first. Empty is a normal state, not an error.
    - `id` string, required: Submission id; the path parameter of the approve/deny routes.
    - `clerk_user_id` string, required: Who submitted it.
    - `url` string, required: The source to embed.
    - `note` string, nullable: Optional submitter note.
    - `submitted_at` string, date-time, required
    - `status` string, required: `pending` while it sits in this queue.

## Other responses

- `401`: Not signed in.
- `403`: Not operator-tier.
- `500`: KV read failed.
