# Delete Video

`DELETE /v1/videos/{video_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.imentiv.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.imentiv.ai/v1/videos/{video_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes a video and its emotional insights. This action is irreversible.

Deletion completes asynchronously: the video disappears from listings immediately,
and its data is permanently removed shortly after. The response status is `deleting`.

## Path parameters

- `video_id` string, required: The unique ID of the video to be deleted.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- VideoDeleteResponse: Response after deleting a video entry. Inherits: ResponseStatus: Generic response with status and message.
