# Add Speaker

`POST /v1/audios/{audio_id}/speakers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.imentiv.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.imentiv.ai/v1/audios/{audio_id}/speakers`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Create a placeholder speaker on an audio file. The new speaker has zero
segments — sentence ownership gets assigned via the existing transcript
editor. Auto-allocates `speaker_id` from a monotonic counter persisted on
the doc (never reuses ids freed by delete). Cached CSV/PDF reports are
invalidated since the report enumerates speakers.

Returns the auto-allocated `{speaker_id, name}` so the FE can append the
new tab without a re-read.

## Path parameters

- `audio_id` string, required: The unique audio ID.

## Request body `application/x-www-form-urlencoded`

- BodyAddSpeakerV1AudiosAudioIdSpeakersPost
  - `name` string: Speaker name (optional, max 35 chars).

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- AddSpeakerResponse: Response model after adding a placeholder speaker to an audio. Attributes: id (str): Audio ID the speaker was added to. speaker_id (int): Auto-allocated id (monotonic; never reuses ids freed by delete). name (str): Persisted name (trimmed; may be empty — FE renders "Speaker {id}" fallback).
  - `id` string, required
  - `speaker_id` integer, required
  - `name` string, required

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
