# Get a template by id or name

`GET /api/templates/{idOrName}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.imagelato.com`
- URL: `https://api.imagelato.com/api/templates/{idOrName}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Fetches a single template by id (uuid) or by name, scoped to your organization. Requires the `templates:read` scope. Returns 404 when the template belongs to another organization, so ids cannot be probed.

- `idOrName` string, required

## Response `200`

The template

- `404`: Not found (or not owned by your organization)
