# Store a screenshot for 30 days

`POST /api/images/temporary`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.imagelato.com`
- URL: `https://api.imagelato.com/api/images/temporary`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

PNG data URL up to 4 MiB. Writes one lifecycle-managed object without permanent batches, variants or webhooks. S3 expiration is asynchronous.

Temporary image URL (no batch created)

  - `retentionDays` 30, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid PNG
- `401`: Missing credentials
- `403`: Missing images write scope
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
