# Delete a template

`DELETE /api/v1/templates/{template_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.ifillpdf.com`
- URL: `https://www.ifillpdf.com/api/v1/templates/{template_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes your own template and its stored assets. Documents already created from it are unaffected. Only the creator can delete.

## Path parameters

- `template_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Template deleted.

## Other responses

- `403`: Authenticated but not allowed (not the creator, or public publishing).
- `404`: Resource not found.
