# Validate IBANs

`POST /validate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ibangen.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://ibangen.com/api/v1/validate`
- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Without X-API-Key: up to 10 IBANs per request and 100 per day per client IP, structural checks only, bank fields locked. With a key: up to 100 per request, metered per IBAN.

## Response `200`

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Invalid API key
- `429`: Quota exhausted
