# Permanently delete the organization and all its data (irreversible)

`POST /api/rightos/organizations/delete`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://rightos.i-s3.com`
- URL: `https://rightos.i-s3.com/api/rightos/organizations/delete`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-rightos-key`

Deletes the organization, its locations, tokens, and verification logs. body.confirm must exactly match the organization name. Export your data first via GET /api/rightos/export if needed.

  - `confirm` string, required: Exact organization name

## Response `200`

Deleted

- object
  - `deleted` boolean

## Other responses

- `400`: confirmation_required (name mismatch — nothing deleted)
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key (error: missing_api_key | invalid_api_key)
- `403`: Demo organization cannot be deleted
