# Delete a workspace

`DELETE /v1/workspaces/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hyperresearch.ai`
- URL: `https://api.hyperresearch.ai/v1/workspaces/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `hr_session`

Sets the status to `deleting` and enqueues the WorkspaceDelete job (DO deleteAll, R2 prefix delete, Vectorize namespace delete, D1 tombstone).

- `id` string, required

## Response `202`

Deleting

- DeletedWorkspace
  - `id` string, required
  - `status` 'deleting', required
  - `job_id` string, required: Poll GET /v1/jobs/{job_id} for teardown status.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Authentication failed
- `403`: Insufficient scope or plan
- `404`: Not found
- `429`: Rate limited or over quota
- `500`: Internal error
