# Verify: citations

`POST /v1/verify/citations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hyperresearch.ai`
- URL: `https://api.hyperresearch.ai/v1/verify/citations`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `hr_session`

Runs the citations check. Citation provenance comes only from the provided sources, DOIs and permitted lookup.
