# Dedup check for a URL

`POST /v1/vault/sources/check`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hyperresearch.ai`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `hr_session`

Before fetching a URL: is it already in the vault (dedup match with the existing note id), and, when licensing is configured, can the page be read at all and at what price. Never makes a purchase.
