# Suggest a selection for a WordPress site

`PUT /wordpress/connections/{id}/suggestion`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hypamoon.com/api/v1`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://app.hypamoon.com/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://api.hypamoon.com/oauth/token`, scopes: `data:write`)

Stores a suggestion, per inventory key on or off with a short reason, based on what the user wants. It is never applied: the user reviews and applies it in WordPress (Tools > Hypamoon > Move data), or says yes in the chat, after which PUT /selection with from_suggestion applies it. Personal data is marked and never ticked automatically. A new suggestion replaces the open one.

## Request body

- object
  - `goal` string, required: What the user wants, in their words, like: move my hours portal, or only my pages and blog.
  - `items` object, required: Per inventory key what you suggest: enabled true or false, a reason, and optionally since, until, statuses, omit_fields, include_meta and names (options only by name). Keys you leave out stay as they are.

## Response `201`

The suggestion with its differences from the current selection, a summary and next_step.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request: invalid_json.
- `401`: Unauthorized: unauthorized, missing_api_key, invalid_api_key, api_key_revoked, project_deleted.
- `403`: Forbidden: project_not_enabled, key_mode_mismatch, missing_scope, verification_required.
- `404`: Not Found: not_found.
- `409`: Conflict: conflict.
- `422`: Unprocessable Content: validation_failed.
- `429`: Too Many Requests: rate_limited.
- `500`: Internal Server Error: internal_error.
- `503`: Service Unavailable: service_unavailable.
