# Read the newest documents (public)

`GET /public/collections/{name}/documents`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hypamoon.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.hypamoon.com/api/v1/public/collections/{name}/documents`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `token`

The newest documents of a collection with access.public_read, from a page on an allowed origin, with the public token in ?token=. Only data and created_at, newest first, 100 at most. Useful for a list of events, a menu or reviews that you add with your API key.

- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

The newest documents.

- PublicDocumentList
  - `data` object[], required: The newest documents, newest first: only data and created_at.
    - `data` object, required
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required: When the document was added.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request: invalid_parameter.
- `401`: Unauthorized: invalid_chat_token, chat_token_revoked.
- `403`: Forbidden: origin_not_allowed, collection_not_public.
- `404`: Not Found: not_found.
- `429`: Too Many Requests: rate_limited.
- `500`: Internal Server Error: internal_error.
- `503`: Service Unavailable: chat_unavailable.
