# Check a domain and suggest fixes

`GET /domains/diagnose`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hypamoon.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.hypamoon.com/api/v1/domains/diagnose`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://app.hypamoon.com/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://api.hypamoon.com/oauth/token`, scopes: `sites:read`)

What is set up on a domain or subdomain right now: the nameservers (at Hypamoon or not), the DNS records here with labels (left by a previous host or not), what answers on the domain, www, the subdomain and the main names (status, server, certificate), email (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace), conflicts and a connection or transfer in progress. Each item in problems has diagnosis, fix (a tool with arguments, or a portal link) and user_message. Read-only, also for a domain that is not connected here. Lookups have short timeouts and never reach private addresses.

## Response `200`

The diagnosis: nameservers, names, mail, records, problems with a fix each, and user_message.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized: unauthorized, missing_api_key, invalid_api_key, api_key_revoked, project_deleted.
- `403`: Forbidden: project_not_enabled, key_mode_mismatch, missing_scope, verification_required.
- `404`: Not Found: not_found.
- `422`: Unprocessable Content: validation_failed.
- `429`: Too Many Requests: rate_limited.
- `500`: Internal Server Error: internal_error.
- `503`: Service Unavailable: service_unavailable.
