# Stop working on a client project

`DELETE /clients/{id}`

## Request

Ends your agency's access to a client project, or withdraws a pending request. What you built stays with the client. If your agency paid the usage, the client pays again from now on and the owner gets an email; payer_stopped says so. open_payments lists your payment links and subscriptions for this client that still run on your own payment account: cancel what should stop. A project in the building stage that nobody took over goes to the trash after 30 days and is deleted 30 days later, unless you restore it.
