# Create Person

`POST /connected-deposits/{version}/persons/create`

This end point allows creation of a new person.

  - `create_account` boolean: Specify whether an account must be created for the person.
  - `person_details` PersonCreateDTO, required
    - `identifications` PersonIdentificationDTO[], nullable: List of identification details for the Person.\ ***required*** for account creation.
      - `govt_id_type` 'NOTPROVIDED' | 'PASSPORT' | 'DRIVERLICENSE' | 'COUNTRYID' | 'TIN', required: Type of Government ID used for verification.
      - `govt_id_number` string, required: Identification number associated with the corresponding Government ID.
    - `birth_date` string, nullable: Person’s date of birth. Accepted Format: yyyy-MM-dd\ ***required*** for account creation.
    - `email` string, nullable: Valid email address of the person.\ ***required*** for account creation.
    - `first_name` string, required: Person’s first name.
    - `last_name` string, required: Person’s last name.
    - `mobile_number` string, nullable: Person’s mobile phone number.\ ***required*** for account creation.
    - `base_address` AddressCreateDTO: Address Details.\ ***required*** for account creation.
      - `address_line1` string, required: Address line 1.
      - `address_line2` string, nullable: Address line 2 (optional).
      - `city` string, required: City.
      - `state` string, required: State or province.
      - `postal_code` string, required: Postal or Zip Code.
      - `country` string, required: Country (ISO 3-letter country code).
    - `nationality` string, nullable: Nationality of the person in ISO 3-letter country code.\ ***required*** for account creation.
    - `client_reference_id` string, nullable: Your unique reference ID for this person.
  - `account_currencies` string[], nullable: List of currencies for account creation.\ ***required*** for account creation.
  - `program_guid` string, uuid, required

Returns the newly created Person object.
