# Is Docker Running

`GET /docker/running`

Check if the Docker daemon is running and accessible.

Pings the Docker daemon to verify connectivity. This is useful for health checks
and to verify Docker is available before attempting container operations.

Use this endpoint before performing Docker operations to ensure the daemon is
responsive, or as part of a system health check routine.
