# Update Bot Controller Config

`POST /controllers/bots/{bot_name}/{controller_name}/config`

Update a controller configuration for a specific bot instance.

Merges the provided configuration values with the existing configuration for the
specified controller on the bot. Only the fields provided in the request body
are updated; existing fields not included in the request are preserved.

Use this endpoint to modify controller parameters on a running bot, such as
adjusting position sizes, spread parameters, or other trading settings.

Note: Changes take effect based on the bot's configuration reload behavior.
Some changes may require the controller to be restarted to take effect.
