# Get Price For Volume

`POST /market-data/order-book/price-for-volume`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8000`
- URL: `http://localhost:8000/market-data/order-book/price-for-volume`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Get the price required to fill a specific volume on the order book.

Args:
    request: Request with connector, trading pair, volume, and side
    market_data_manager: Injected market data feed manager

Returns:
    Order book query result with price and volume information

## Request body

- PriceForVolumeRequest: Request model for getting price for a specific volume
  - `connector_name` string, required: Name of the connector
  - `trading_pair` string, required: Trading pair
  - `is_buy` boolean, required: True for buy side, False for sell side
  - `volume` number, required: Volume to query price for

## Response `200`

- OrderBookQueryResult: Response for order book query operations
  - `trading_pair` string, required: Trading pair
  - `is_buy` boolean, required: Query side (buy/sell)
  - `query_volume` number, nullable: Queried volume
  - `query_price` number, nullable: Queried price
  - `result_price` number, nullable: Resulting price
  - `result_volume` number, nullable: Resulting volume
  - `result_quote_volume` number, nullable: Resulting quote volume
  - `average_price` number, nullable: Average/VWAP price
  - `timestamp` number, required: Query timestamp
