# Update Bot Rate Oracle Config

`PUT /bot-orchestration/rate-oracle/config`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8000`
- URL: `http://localhost:8000/bot-orchestration/rate-oracle/config`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Update the bot rate oracle source, global token and/or rate-limit share in an account's
conf_client.yml.

Bots pick the change up on their next deploy (running bots keep their copied config).
Changing master_account's global token also switches the API's own valuation quote token.

Args:
    update_request: Configuration updates to apply
    account_name: Credentials profile whose conf_client.yml to update (default master_account)

## Request body

- RateOracleConfigUpdateRequest: Request model for updating the rate oracle configuration.
  - `rate_oracle_source` RateOracleSourceConfig: Rate oracle source configuration.
    - `name` string, required: The rate oracle source deployed bots use for price data
  - `global_token` GlobalTokenConfig: Global token configuration for displaying values.
    - `global_token_name` string, nullable: The token to use as global quote (e.g., USDT, USD, BTC)
    - `global_token_symbol` string, nullable: Symbol to display for the global token
  - `rate_limits_share_pct` number, nullable: New share of each exchange's API rate limit for a bot instance, 1-100 (optional)

- RateOracleConfigUpdateResponse: Response for a bot client defaults update.
  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the update was successful
  - `message` string, required: Status message
  - `config` RateOracleConfig, required: Bot client defaults persisted in an account's conf_client.yml.
    - `account_name` string, required: Credentials profile the configuration belongs to
    - `rate_oracle_source` RateOracleSourceConfig, required: Rate oracle source configuration.
      - `name` string, required: The rate oracle source deployed bots use for price data
    - `global_token` GlobalTokenConfig, required: Global token configuration for displaying values.
      - `global_token_name` string, nullable: The token to use as global quote (e.g., USDT, USD, BTC)
      - `global_token_symbol` string, nullable: Symbol to display for the global token
    - `rate_limits_share_pct` number: Percentage of each exchange's API rate limit allocated to a bot instance
