Stable, truthful 1200x630 raster social preview. The image is generated from the same public page identity and does not assert downloads, endorsements, verification, hosted state, compatibility, or execution status beyond the bounded public projection.

**Inputs.** Path, query and header fields are listed below. No request body is required.

**Outputs.** See each status below for its media type, schema and headers. A missing record or unavailable capability is not a successful empty result.

**Errors.** Read the status and Content-Type before decoding. Document, image, redirect and file routes need not return JSON errors.

**Rate limits.** Public read budgets apply by client IP and route group. This operation can have a smaller route-specific budget. Read Retry-After on 429 or retryable 503 responses.

**Example setup.** Use an identifier returned by the matching list, search or create operation. Sample identifiers are not a promise that a record exists.

Crawler-compatible PNG social preview. When the page identity cannot be resolved, a GENERIC branded card is returned (still 200, briefly cacheable) that asserts nothing about any specific subject, so a preview is never blank.

## Other responses

- `304`: The strong PNG ETag matched If-None-Match.
- `400`: The encoded page identity is malformed; no identity is reflected.
- `429`: Public read rate limit exceeded.
- `503`: Bounded public authority unavailable.
