# Join Oauth App Team

`POST /v2/oauth/join`

## Request

Make the OAuth access token's user a member of its application's team.

Idempotent. A user who is already a member keeps their role; a new user
joins as an external member, whom a team admin can promote. A user who was
removed from the team is refused until a team admin invites them again.
Every other endpoint answers ``principal_not_found`` for the token until
its user has joined.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- OAuthJoinResponse: The token user's membership in the application's team.
  - `membership_id` integer, required
  - `team_id` string, uuid, required
  - `role` 'admin' | 'member' | 'external', required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid or malformed request
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials
- `403`: Caller may not access this resource
- `404`: Referenced entity does not exist
- `409`: Resource already exists
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded; wait at least Retry-After seconds
- `502`: An upstream provider is unavailable
- `503`: The server is at capacity; retry after Retry-After seconds
