# Get member limit

`GET /v2/projects/{project_id}/member_limits/{member_limit_id}`

## Request

Returns the member budget limit group with the given ID.

Requires organization owner or organization manager for the project's organization.

`alerts` reflect the project's shared notification settings, not a per-group value.

    - `cost` number, float: Cost limit when type is cost
    - `hours` number, float: Hours limit when type is hours
    - `start_date` string, date: Start date for fixed (non-recurring) budgets
    - `recurrence` 'weekly' | 'monthly': Budget recurrence period
    - `recurrence_start` integer: Weekly: day of week (0=Sunday through 6=Saturday). Monthly: day of month (1-31).
    - `alerts` object, required: Project-level alert settings shared by all member limit groups on the project
    - `member_ids` integer[], required: User IDs assigned to this member limit group
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required: When the record was created
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: When the record was last updated

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: API access is only for organizations on an active plan
- `404`: Could not find record
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
