# Is this entity an eligible legal-entity group?

`GET /api/v1/entities/{entity_id}/financials/has-group`

Lightweight boolean gate that returns `{ "is_group": true }` when the entity files combined statements that break out standalone subsidiaries on a `dei:LegalEntityAxis` (typically FERC utilities). Use it to decide whether to offer the **Group** view / the `/financials/group` endpoint before making the heavier call.
