# Legal-entity group view: parent + filing subsidiaries

`GET /api/v1/entities/{entity_id}/financials/group`

## Request

For a combined filer (FERC-style regulated utilities, holdcos), returns the parent plus each filing subsidiary's STANDALONE financials carried on dei:LegalEntityAxis. SCOPE view, NOT a decomposition: members are parallel registrants and do NOT sum to the consolidated parent. `is_group=false` when the entity is not an eligible combined-filing group.

- `fiscal_year` integer, nullable: Optional snapshot year (default: latest year with member data)
- `size_metric` string, nullable: Hub concept code driving node size (default TOTAL_ASSETS)

    - `parent` GroupMember: A filing subsidiary (tentacle) — or the consolidated parent reference row. ``member_qname`` is the ``dei:LegalEntityAxis`` member ("" for the parent reference). ``n_hubs`` is the count of distinct hubs the member carries at the snapshot year (richness — drives eligibility). ``size_value`` is the value of the node-size metric (default TOTAL_ASSETS). ``metrics`` maps each curated headline hub code to the member's standalone value.
