# Delete a GS1 product

`DELETE /gs1/products/{product_id}/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://hovercode.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://hovercode.com/api/v2/gs1/products/{product_id}/`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Returns 204.

## Path parameters

- `product_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Deleted.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API token.
- `404`: Not found, or not in a workspace you belong to.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Wait `Retry-After` seconds before retrying.
