# Delete a guest

`DELETE /api/guests/{guestId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hotelumo.com`
- URL: `https://api.hotelumo.com/api/guests/{guestId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Deletes a guest by id. Guests belonging to another organization respond 404. Requires the `guests:write` scope.

## Path parameters

- `guestId` string, required

## Response `200`

The deleted guest

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found (or owned by another organization)
