# Create member

`POST /v1/members`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://platform.hootsuite.com`

Creates a member in a Hootsuite organization.  Requires organization manage members permission.

- CreateMemberRequest
  - `organizationIds` integer[], required: The organizations the member should be added to.
  - `email` string, required: The member’s email.
  - `fullName` string, required: The member’s name.
  - `companyName` string: The member’s company name.
  - `bio` string: The member’s bio.
  - `timezone` string: The member's time zone. If not provided it will default to “America/Vancouver”. Valid values are defined at http://php.net/manual/en/timezones.php.
  - `language` 'en' | 'ja' | 'fr' | 'it' | 'es' | 'de' | 'pt_BR' | 'pl' | 'id' | 'zh_CN' | 'zh_HK' | 'zh_TW' | 'nl' | 'ko' | 'ar' | 'ru' | 'th' | 'tr': The member’s language.

    - `companyName` string: The member’s company name.
    - `bio` string: The member’s bio.
    - `timezone` string: The member’s time zone. Valid values are defined at http://php.net/manual/en/timezones.php.
