# Create Escrow

`POST /api/b2b/escrows`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-v2.honeycoin.app`
- URL: `https://api-v2.honeycoin.app/api/b2b/escrows`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Creates a new escrow account.

## Request body

- object
  - `amount` integer, required: Amount to charge from the sender. Must be ≥ 1.
  - `chargeCurrency` string, required: The currency the buyer will be charged in.
  - `receiverCurrency` string: The currency the seller will be settled in
  - `externalReference` string, required: A unique reference
  - `chargeDetails` object, required: Details for charging (method, phoneNumber, etc.)
    - `method` string, required: Allowed values: momo
    - `firstName` string, required
    - `lastName` string, required
    - `email` string, required
    - `phoneNumber` string: Required when method is momo.
    - `country` string, required: The country in iso2 code.
    - `momoOperatorId` string
  - `payoutDetails` object, required: Details for payout (method, country, etc.)
    - `accountName` string
    - `accountNumber` string
    - `code` string
    - `branchCode` string
