# Initiate Payout

`POST /api/b2b/escrows/payouts/{escrowId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-v2.honeycoin.app`
- URL: `https://api-v2.honeycoin.app/api/b2b/escrows/payouts/{escrowId}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Initiates a payout from the escrow to the receiver. You can specify the amount to payout.

## Path parameters

- `escrowId` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `amount` integer, required: Amount to payout (must not exceed escrow balance)
  - `payoutDetails` object: Not required. Can be used when the payout destination is meant to override the payoutDetails specified on escrow creation.
    - `accountName` string
    - `accountNumber` string
    - `code` string
    - `branchCode` string
