# Close a Cross-border Request

`POST /api/b2b/cross-border/requests/{id}/close`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-v2.honeycoin.app`
- URL: `https://api-v2.honeycoin.app/api/b2b/cross-border/requests/{id}/close`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Close an unpaid request in documents_required, documents_submitted, documents_rejected, pending_charge, charge_initiated, or charge_failed. There must be no pending/successful deposit and no payout transaction. Closing is not a refund.

Successful response.

    - `pendingChargesClosed` 0, required: Active charges prevent closing; this is zero for an eligible close.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request, bearer token, or current request state.
- `403`: Request belongs to another account.
- `404`: CROSS_BORDER_REQUEST_NOT_FOUND.
- `409`: CROSS_BORDER_REQUEST_ALREADY_CLOSED or CROSS_BORDER_REQUEST_CANNOT_BE_CLOSED.
