# Confirm a pending email change for the current user

`POST /users/me/email/confirm/`

## Request

Submits the verification code Cognito emailed to the new address. On success the new email is saved and the updated user is returned. Requires a Cognito bearer token.

## Other responses

- `400`: Wrong code (error_code INVALID_CODE), expired code (error_code CODE_EXPIRED) or invalid email
- `401`: Unauthorized: missing, expired or revoked bearer token
- `403`: Forbidden while acting on behalf of another user
- `409`: Email address is already in use (error_code EMAIL_UNAVAILABLE)
- `429`: Too many attempts (error_code TOO_MANY_ATTEMPTS)
- `500`: Cognito error (error_code COGNITO_ERROR)
